Free Founding Student Cohort

Free online Ontario-curriculum learning opportunities for a limited number of founding students while COLA completes its Ontario Ministry of Education inspection process. The opportunity is open to students attending a school and students learning at home.

Important: this course is being offered during COLA's initial Ministry inspection process. COLA cannot guarantee, grant or record an OSSD credit unless and until the Principal receives written credit-granting authority following a successful inspection.
Ministry authorization status

Canadian Online Learning Academy has submitted a Notice of Intention to Operate to the Ontario Ministry of Education and is completing the required Ministry registration and inspection process. The school is not currently authorized to grant credits toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. The proposed initial program is limited to individual Grade 9–11 courses; COLA will not offer Grade 12 courses, hold students’ OSRs as their main school, or issue an OSSD during the first year.
